Purpose
To develop, monitor and review Council policies and functions and oversee the council’s accounts and finances.
The Strategy & Resources Working Group meets around ten times a year and before every meeting of Full Council. It includes the Lead Councillors of the other Working Groups and considers the finances and policies of the Council and proposals from its Task Groups, making recommendations to Council for decision.
Any requests for items on the agenda should be sent to the Town Clerk and contact officer listed who will discuss with the Lead Member of the Working Group and agree what if any briefing papers or reports should be circulated to councillors and in what timescale.
